This high-mileage training shoe was designed to look, feel and perform differently than your traditional training shoe. It has New Balance’s Energy Arc technology, which is an arched carbon fiber plate that is sandwiched in between two layers of their FuelCell cushioning. The geometry of the carbon fiber plate has strategic midsole voids to increase stored energy, which delivers a higher amount of total energy returned.

The FuelCell cushioning gives you soft landings and propels you forward during your run. One tester said “the thick slab of FuelCell foam is so springy and bouncy it makes each stride feel effortless. I love how soft yet responsive the cushioning is, too. A breathable, flat-knit upper provides a locked-in fit and feel. The gusseted tongue and “N” wrap-around logo secure your midfoot so you can push the pace.
